Samabhavana has undertaken Vocational Skills Program for Young boys with support from LOVE146.ORG- UK based Donor Agency to train on industry-specific skills making them more employable and enhancing their job prospects by addressing the skill gap in the job market. which was aligned with market demand in Motor Mechanic, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrician- Computer Skills- Hard ware, Software and Networking which are aimed to empower individuals, reduce unemployment, and promote sustainable socio-economic development these programs contribute to reducing unemployment and poverty.

We have collaborated with Vocational Institutions to enhance their capacity and improve the quality of vocational education. This collaboration has involved curriculum development, providing infrastructure, faculty training, and industry linkages on enhancing employability, fostering entrepreneurship, and facilitating job placements for young individuals.

Sustainable Agriculture and Livelihood Enhancement

Samabhavana has been engaging in sustainable farming practices of organic farming, vermiculture, dairy and mustard mill by providing training to improve Livelihood enhancement by establishing of rural enterprises.

Sustainable agriculture and livelihood enhancement are two interconnected concepts that aim to promote environmentally responsible agricultural practices while improving the well-being of farmers and rural communities their significance in achieving a more sustainable and equitable future.

Sustainable agriculture encompasses a range of approaches, including organic farming, agroforestry, permaculture, and precision farming, among others is the promotion of biodiversity and ecosystem health. This involves reducing the use of chemical inputs such as synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, and instead, adopting natural and organic alternatives. By enhancing biodiversity on farmland and preserving natural habitats.

Livelihood enhancement, on the other hand, focuses on improving the overall quality of life and economic opportunities for individuals and communities which includes training on sustainable farming practices, capacity building, access to credit and markets, and the establishment of farmer cooperatives and networks. By strengthening the capabilities and agency of farmers, livelihood enhancement initiatives contribute to poverty alleviation and promote inclusive and sustainable rural development.
