Samabhavana is the Pioneer in initiating the 1st Global Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in collaborations with Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi and IBM India Pvt Ltd which was initiated with organizing the Global Conference on CSR in year 2013, followed in 2014 and 2015; as the goal was to create a platform for Civil Society organizations to create a meaningful partnership, the process of capacity building was one of the way ahead for ensuring the creation of platform for partnership and another way ahead was also to provide grass root Organisation consultation for CSR Connect via the existing connects of Corporates, that Samabhavana has built over the period of years.
The collaboration was a natural way ahead as it was the shared goal between three partners, IBM, IICA and Samabhavana. Sponsored by IBM, supported by IICA, Samabhavana Society then initiated a series of workshops across India in four geographical zones (Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Kolkata). It was a two day program '3Cs (Capability, Capacity, Connects) Training Workshop' for NGOs and Social Enterprises.
